From South Africa. I grow this charming little plant in almost pure gravel where it overwinters without difficulty in my Zone 5-6 garden. It is a mat forming plant with blue-green, fleshy foliage that resembles 'little pickles'. Set with small, bright yellow daisies in the fall. Ideal for the trough or scree garden. Needs a sunny, VERY well drained site. (4-5")
