Spectacular, bright pink dinner-plate size blooms with crinkled edges, in late summer and early fall. Needs a hot sunny location in order to bloom properly and good, fertile soil. Although it may look like a shrub it is a true perennial. In the spring cut it right back to the ground. It is very slow to emerge from the ground sometimes not showing any sign of life until June. Do not give up prematurely! (4')
